Melodrama project reflection
During melodrama this first term I have learned a lot of things about my self through working with others and trying to cooperate with my team mates to achieve a chosen or given goal. Our melodrama project was with a team to make and write a real melodrama play out of nothing. Strait away almost everybody in our group had different ideas and we were all arguing, we had to combine the ideas we all had into one complex idea, which is what we did. I learned that I like to take charge and control of some situations but I usually would not get the opportunity to do so. We as a group listened to each other to get to where we were when we performed the melodrama. I had a very bad weakness which is that I usually do not listen to comments of other people which makes me not much of a team person. We had a good story because we listened to each other when giving ideas out. Next time I hope we get a larger range of people and ideas so our play would be eccentric. I learned some things better than before stage wise, I believe I know how an actor should sit/ stand according to the audience better and that will help me a lot in the near future. I believe that I was smiling a bit too much in the act, during when I was acting I found that I did not put in any body language in certain time and in times that I did, my body language was very bad.
In Drama class we were asked in groups to create, write and perform a melodrama play. Melodrama was mostly very famous in the 19 thousands, When we performed our play it was very funny, realistic and clever. I have said a lot of things that I meant in the reflection to the project but one thing is certain and that is that I have learned a lot during it. One of t5he most important things that I have learned is how to work with others in getting one final result that everybody agrees on better. A big aspect of this project is the teamwork and how to turn that into something good. I hope to get more artifacts on the digital portfolio and reflect on it, I am proud of what I have achieved and you will see that through the work that you see on the digital portfolio.
